Ted Cruz Is A 'Missing' Man: Posters Seek Meeting With Senator
Fliers posted around Houston tell politician, "Ted Cruz, Your constituents demand to speak with you!!!"

HOUSTON, TX — It's not easy being Ted Cruz these days. The Texas Republican has reportedly been dodging meetings with his constituents, and last month callers to his state offices said that they could not reach a human being and were unable to leave messages. Now a group is using old-fashioned technology in an attempt to communicate with the former GOP presidential candidate.
Fliers bearing the senator's face and reading "MISSING SENATOR" have popped up around the city, and the group behind them have a great sense of humor, according to the Houston Chronicle:
The fliers have bullet points of "identification markers" for the senator, including "answers to the name 'Ted,'" "will attempt to repeal ACA if cornered" and others. The posters go along with a social media campaign using the hashtags #TedCruzMissing, #DoYourJob and #YourTXConstituents.
The group, Women & Allies Houston, has urged the public to sign a petition that begins "Ted Cruz, Your constituents demand to speak with you!!!"

The petition goes on to excoriate Cruz: "We are your Texas constituents. There are 2.2 million voters in Harris County and we demand to speak to you, in person. Harris county voters have been watching as police escort concerned constituents out of your offices. We watched your staffers lie to us about availability of appointments. We watched you get into a twitter battle with Deadspin while we stood on the sidewalk waiting to voice our concerns about the welfare of our state. We have called and your voicemail box is full. You have closed your offices. You have disregarded our emails. You have cut off contact to one of the largest voting pools in this state and we will not stand for it anymore."
Calls to Sen. Cruz's Houston office were not immediately returned.
