Tractor Trailer Found Half-Submerged In Brays Bayou
Truck, with driver's side door open, was spotted by a passerby around 5:30 on Friday morning.
HOUSTON, TX — Houston police officers are looking for the driver of an 18-wheeler that ended up half-submerged in Brays Bayou near Telephone Road and Wheeler. Officers responded to a call around 5:30 on Friday morning and found the truck, its driver's side door open, in the muddy water.
It is unclear if the driver was in the truck when it entered the water; the truck was being pulled from the bayou, and authorities are seeking to determine if it was stolen.
KTRK reported that Houston Fire Department officials also responded to the scene.
