World Serious Proposal: Correa Gets Engaged After Win (WATCH)
The star slugging shortstop had a member of the FOX TV broadcast in on the secret, and this moment immediately melted hearts

HOUSTON, TX — No Astros fan will likely forget the crazy Game 5 of the World Series last Sunday when the Astros smashed home records and came back time and again to pull out a win in 10 innings. One FOX reporter won't forget what happened immediately after that game.
Fox reporter Ken Rosenthal was waiting inside Minute Maid Park for post-game press conferences when Astros shortstop Carlos Correa pulled him aside and said, "Ken, we need to talk. Serious business!"
Correa began planning to pop the question to his girlfriend after a World Series-clinching win, so he coerced Rosenthal to work with Fox producers after the next win to stage an interview near his girlfriend, who would be nearby.

Well, the Dodgers won Game 6 to force a decisive game Wednesday night, which the Astros won, 5-1, for their first-ever world championship. About 30 minutes after the game, Correa and Rosenthal — and entire TV production crew — put the plan in motion.
The key, though, was that Rosenthal was tasked with carrying the ring so he could hand it over. The plan worked. Correa, the slugging captain of the infield, won his World Series ring and then gave the love of his life hers.
