1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured In Single-Vehicle Fiery Crash: EMS

The vehicle spun out of control, rolled over, hit and pole and then caught fire on East Parmer Lane in a crash that killed one person.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed, and another was seriously injured Sunday night in a crash in which a vehicle spun out of control, hit a pole and then caught fire, local EMS officials said.

Austin-Travis County EMS officials said in a social media post that the accident took place just after 6 p.m. Sunday in the 3900-4750 block of East Parmer Lane. Officials said a witness called 911 and reported that a single vehicle spun out of control, rolled over, hit a pole and then burst into flames.

EMS workers on site reported that one person was dead at the scene and that a second person was considered a trauma alert and was taken to St. David’s Hospital in Round Rock with potentially life-threatening injuries.
