2 Wounded In North Austin Shooting: Reports

A suspect reportedly is in custody following a Monday morning that left the shooting victims with non-life-threatening injuries.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Two people were hospitalized after a North Austin shooting on Monday, according to reports.

The incident occurred along the 700 block of West St. Johns Avenue at around 10 a.m., KVUE reported. A suspect was taken into custody, according to the report.

The report indicates Austin-Travis County EMS medics wrote on Twitter that the two shooting victims were transported to an area hospital, one with serious yet non-life-threatening injuries and the other with injuries not deemed to be life-threatening.
