4 Injured In I-35 Shooting In North Austin: Police

BREAKING: A suspect was taken into custody Saturday morning and police say there is no further threat to the public.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Police say a person is in custody after a shooting on I-35 in North Austin early Saturday morning that injured four victims, including a child, according to Austin EMS.

Officers responded to the scene at around 4 a.m. and located three victims with gunshot wounds who were transported to area hospitals and are listed in stable condition, police said. A possible fourth victim, who is also in stable condition, was located and taken to the hospital, according to police.

Police urged any victims or witnesses to call 911 and believe that there was a further threat to the public. Around 9 a.m., police said the suspect was in custody and there was no further danger to the public.
