Amy's Ice Cream Relocating Bakery From South To North Austin

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Amy's Ice Cream officials announced the location of their bakery, Baked by Amy's, inside the Amy's Ice Creams production facility in North Austin.

The move of the bakery's current location at 13265 N. Highway 183 in South Austin to 2109 Northland Dr. in North Austin will occur this coming Sunday, May 27, officials said.

"The purpose of the move to the production facility on Northland Dr. is for Baked by Amy’s to expand and provide more products to distribute within our Amy’s Ice Creams stores and serve more central Austin customers," officials said in a press advisory.

Baked by Amy’s lead, Erin Stanley, added: "By moving to the Amy’s production facility, we are really going back to our roots of figuring out how we can strengthen our impact on the ice cream and the company as a whole; We also would love to be more accessible to our central Austin customers and our production facility provides us with that opportunity.”

The bakery will reopen inside the Amy’s Ice Creams production facility on June 4th, 2018, and will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for walk-up sales, officials said.
