Art Competition Helps Celebrate Parks And Recreation Month

PFLUGERVILLE, TX—Celebrate your love for the outdoors with the Parks and Recreation Month art competition open to all ages in Pflugerville. The theme is "My Parks and Recreation Story", and the winner may look forward to having their artwork created into a special Parks and Recreation giveaway item.

Entries will be accepted through Friday, July 16 with submission guidelines including:

• Artwork must reflect theme of "My Parks and Recreation Story".
• Open to all ages, and no residential restrictions apply —everyone welcome to participate!
• Artwork must be 2-dimensional, and able to be scanned or rendered into a digital design
• Digital artwork preferred 300 dpi in png format
• Artwork must be original work of the entrant, no copyrighted images allowed
• Artwork must be suitable for all ages
• Artwork must be submitted via email at events@pflugervilletx.gov, and please include the name of the entrant in the email

Winning artwork will be featured at Music in the Park on July 30, and reproduced art will be part of a special Parks and Recreation Month giveaway item. To learn more, click HERE.
