Artists Showcase + Open Mic Offers Curated Line-Up Of Performers

Every second Wednesday of the month, Interfaces hosts a virtual program showcasing marginalized ATX artists as a way to amplify their work.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX —Each second Wednesday of the month, the community is invited to enjoy an evening with curated lineup of performers ranging from disciplines including poetry, music, fiction, nonfiction, visual art and storytelling. Interfaces and their Artist Showcase + Open Mic is a free program that is open to the public, and showcases a host of talented Austin-area artists. As part of the Open Mic section, artists in the crowd will have the chance to perform during the virtual event.

Interfaces is a community initiative dedicated to nurturing and amplifying marginalized area artists through IDEA-conscious arts programming. The upcoming Artist Showcase + Open Mic scheduled on Wednesday, August 12 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. will feature Loré Yessuff and Raphael.

ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT: Zoom links are accessible with a phone, tablet, or computer -- no zoom account required. Feature performances will be uploaded to YouTube with transcriptions. Closed captioning and ASL interpretation will be provided upon a request at least 3 days before the event. It is free to attend.
