Austin Public Health Launches Satellite Location For Services

The North Austin YMCA will offer neighborhood services including bus passes, rent/utility assistance, social services, and more.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX —Austin Public Health, with its mission to prevent disease, promote health, and protect the well-being of all, with the vision of making Austin/Travis County the healthiest in the nation, has launched a pilot of a new satellite location for services. As part of The Austin Public Health Neighborhood Services Unit, neighborhood services will now be offered at North Austin YMCA.

The new location will offer a host of services for the community including bus passes; rent and utility assistance; social work services; and nursing services. Customers may schedule an appointment to visit the North Austin YMCA on selected dates to receive assistance. For more information, or to schedule an appointment contact the St. John Community Center at (512) 972-5159 and selecting option 4.
