Austin School Of Film Hosts Virtual Winter Workshops
The community is invited to learn and build community centered on film, art and creative media, with online workshops designed for all.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX—Austin School of Film invite the community to Play At Home, an online/offline interactive experience with live hands-on workshops, events, screenings, and talks led by artists and filmmakers from around the world.
The workshops held across multiple dates are designed to be as accessible as possible, with free and low-cost (up to $75) events centered on learning and building community among those interested in film, art, and creative media. Play At Home includes:
- mini workshops developed as bite-sized virtual versions of classes & workshops at Austin School of Film
- resource guides crafted by filmmakers & media artists for continued learning offline
- creative media boxes & film kits for specialty workshops delivered to your door
- virtual short film showcases & talks featuring indie filmmakers & animators in the industry
- interactive collaboration & conversation without borders or barriers
- no or low cost *many are completely free, some that include additional supplies may have a small fee
