The Bullock Museum welcomes experts from the fields of film and public health for a look back at examples of outbreaks on screen.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX—Enjoy a unique opportunity to explore film and a history of examples of outbreaks shown on screen. B Movies and Bad History: Outbreaks is part of an online program presented by the Bullock Museum spotlighting relevant themes in our current lives.
Scheduled Thursday, Jan. 28 from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m., the online program highlights the threat of pandemic as a reality we are living through, and will feature experts from the fields of film and public health for a look back at some of the best (and worst) examples of outbreaks on screen.
From the laughable to the plausible, you'll have the opportunity to see movies in an entirely different light. Educators are eligible to receive CPE credit and more information may be obtained by emailing Education@TheStoryofTexas.com.
