Chili's Restaurant Fire In North Austin Sparked By Cigarette
There was no interior damage to the interior of the eatery located at 12901 North Interstate 35, and no injuries were reported Saturday.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Firefighters descended to a Chili's Grill & Bar restaurant in North Austin to put out flames likely caused by an errant cigarette on Saturday.
The fire was sparked at 12901 North Interstate 35, fire officials wrote in a tweet posted just before 1:20 p.m. The exterior fire was likely caused from cigarette traveled up in to void space and filled restaurant with smoke, fire officials said. There was no damage to the structure's interior.

It's unclear if there were any diners at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.
