City Of Pflugerville: City Council Adopts Updates To Downtown Action Plan

At their meeting on February 8, Pflugerville City Council approved an update to our Downtown Action Plan. Since the Downtown Action Plan was initially adopted in 2018, the City of Pflugerville has:

All of these projects have contributed towards the development of a strategic plan for Downtown Pflugerville, and the updates to the Downtown Action Plan reflects these accomplishments, add strategic goals and include projects related to the upcoming Downtown East development. Pflugerville residents told us in last year’s Resident Survey that their second highest priority over the next two years is enhancements to Downtown, and 78% of survey respondents thought that enhancements to Downtown were the most important improvements for the City of Pflugerville to invest in.

With the adoption of the updated Downtown Action Plan, over the next few years residents can expect to see projects related to the funding and development of Downtown East, a downtown-focused drainage study, a Streetscape Master Plan and projects added to the Water and Wastewater Master Plans for Downtown.
