Colorado River Alliance Hosts Virtual Gala

NORTH AUSTIN, TX —The Colorado River Alliance invites the community to its first virtual gala and fundraiser, Cocktails for the Colorado: From the Couch. The live-streamed experience will offer the opportunity to take part in the Colorado River Alliance's most important fundraising event of the year from the comfort and safety of home.

The virtual event Scheduled Thursday, Sept. 24 from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. will raise funds to support Colorado River Alliance’s online & in-person education programs that teach today’s youth & community about the importance of protecting and preserving the Texas Colorado River. Participants will enjoy an evening to advance awareness about one of the state's most valuable natural resources, and be part of a community that seeks to preserve its beauty. The virtual event will also offer participants the chance to register for the live auction with opportunities to bid on items such as YETI Fly Fishing Excursion for Four, Timmerman Ranch Retreat, an Argentinean Dove Hunt, and more.
