Colorado's Oskar Blues Grill & Brew Is Coming to North Austin

They're opening a brewery and a tap room with a music venue.

Oskar Blues Grill & Brew was once called “the hottest place to be on a Saturday night in Colorado” by Rolling Stone magazine.

Opened 18 years ago in Lyons, Colorado, they expanded into North Carolina in 2012.

Now they’re coming to Austin.

Owner Dale Katechis announced he’s found a 50,000 square foot brewery space including a 5,000 square foot taproom and music venue location at 10420 Metric Blvd. The space was previously a car repair shop.

He plans to be open by April of next year.

“The passion and rebellious nature of Austin locals, along with the food, craft beer and live music scenes create a vibe that already feels like home,” he said on the venue’s Tumblr page.
