Community Invited To Austin Organic Gardeners Virtual Meeting
Austin Organic Gardeners will host Tiffany Washington from Dobbin-Kauv Garden Farm to share her story on becoming a food justice warrior.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Austin Organic Gardeners, now in its 75th year of organic gardening and resiliency, will host its monthly meeting and invite new members to check out an informative and engaging discussion with guest speaker Tiffany Washington from Dobbin-Kauv Garden Farm. Ms. Washington is a service disabled combat veteran battling PTSD, mother of four, and is the only Black-owned farm in Austin.
Ms. Washington will be sharing her story about why she is a food justice warrior, protecting her childhood home by planting a nutritional defense for her community. You can learn more and support Tiffany’s farm HERE. The online meeting will be held Monday, August 10 beginning at 6 p.m. via Zoom and is FREE to attend.
