Construction Begins on 246-Unit Apartment Complex in North Austin

Austin just keeps on building up.

Casey Development, a San Antonio-based real estate company, has started construction on the Tacara at Steiner Ranch in North Austin, reported REbusiness.

When completed, The Tacara will contain 246 apartments. The Class A apartment community will consist of 150 one-bedroom/one-bath units, 80 two-bedroom/two-bath units and 16 three-bedroom/two-bath units.

But it seems as if the apartments themselves won’t be the communities calling card. It’s the amenities. Residents of the Tacara community will have access to a pool, outdoor lounge areas with barbecue grills, coffee bar, business center, fitness center, dog park and gated entry.

Furthermore, the Tacara will be built at the Steiner Ranch planned community, which features housing on both Lake Travis and Lake Austin as well as houses on the University of Texas Golf Course.

It is unknown at this time when construction on the apartment complex will be complete.
