Craft Kits Offer Seniors Opportunities To Explore Creativity

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Pflugerville-area seniors will have opportunities throughout the month of September to explore their creative side and experience fun craft projects hosted by the Pflugerville Public Library. Craft projects are available to enjoy from the comfort and safety of home, and are available for pick up at the library while supplies last. Kits include instructions and materials, and participants may register online to schedule pickup and reserve their craft kit. • Adult Craft Night: Faux Terrarium Display: Thursday, September 10 from 6 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a craft from your home! Pick up a craft kit with instructions at the library. (This craft has printed instructions, rather than a video.) For those 18 and up only. Registration is required and begins September 3. Register online. Supplies are limited. Please note: One kit per registrant. Registrants will need to pick up supplies from the library September 10 and September 17. Call 512-990-6381 when you arrive and are ready to pick up. • Senior Crafternoon: Paper Marbling: Friday, September 11 from 2 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Enjoy a craft at home! Customize watercolor paper using food coloring. Register online beginning August 28 to receive a kit of supplies, then watch the video on YouTube on September 11 for instructions. For those 55 and up. Please note:One kit per registrant; Kits will be available for pickup for registrants between September 4 and September 11 during curbside pickup hours. • Paint Night: Sea Turtle: Thursday, September 17 from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Enjoy a craft from your home! This time, we're painting a sea turtle. Kits will be available for pickup from the library. We'll premiere the instructional video via YouTube on September 17 at 6:30 pm. For those 18 and up only. Registration is required and begins September 3. Register online. Registration opens online on September 11. Please note: One kit per registrant. Kits will be available for pickup for registrants between September 18-25 during curbside pickup hours.
