- When Sianni Dean, owner of Cranky Granny’s Sweet Rolls, was "looking for a location to open her first storefront, she said a spot in The Domain was No. 1 on her list." Fortunately, she "was able to sign a one-year lease at that location 0n 10910 Domain Drive, Ste. 106. Dean said, “We wanted to be a part of that experience, so not only is The Domain somewhere that you need to go, but Cranky Granny’s at The Domain is somewhere that you need to go.” In March, The Domain celebrated its 15-year anniversary and since then, it "has grown exponentially with hotels, office buildings and high-rise apartments dotting the landscape and earning the area the nickname 'Austin’s second downtown.'” For more visit: (Community Impact Newspaper)
- On Saturday, April 23, a second Rosen's Bagel Co. spot opened up in Republic Square Park, at the former location of Salt & Time Cafe on 422 West Fifth St. Their menu includes "classic bagels, schmears, lox, and egg sandwiches," as well as "new items like a roast beef sandwich on a bagel or a Cobb salad with everything bagel-seasoned avocado" and "Salt & Time chorizo, bacon, and ham" breakfast sandwiches. In addition, they have "coffee drinks from Tiny House Coffee Roasters as well as draft beer, wine, mimosas, and frozen drinks." The venue only has outdoor seating and guests can order "in person, preorder online for pickups, or order deliveries via DoorDash." For more information visit: (Eater Austin)
