Dumpster Fire Offers An Immersive Percussion Ensemble Performance
Performed on two dumpsters by humans and robots, the performance will offer a memorable and unique experience in an outdoor space.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX—Enjoy a one-of-a-kind evening with an immersive percussion ensemble performed on two dumpsters by humans and robots. Rolling Ryot presents Dumpster Fire by Thor Harris (Swans) and Lyman Hardy (Pong), and additional engineering provided by Emmett Palaima and Kyle Evans (dadaLab).
Scheduled Saturday, Nov. 21 from 6 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. at dadaLab located at 2824 Real St., Austin, TX 78722, the socially distanced event will feature immersive sound pressure; sonorous dumpsters; head-bobbing metallic rhythms; battles and truces between robot and humans; and dumpster fire.
Dumpster Fire is a safe, fully outdoor and physically distanced musical event taking place in dadaLab's large 25,000 sf backyard. There will be limited attendance and screening upon entry including:
