Empire Hosts Fun Music Movie Theater Thursdays

Austin's Empire Control Room will host Thursday night screenings of music movie favorites in a COVID-safe environment for all to enjoy.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX—If you're looking for a fun way to distract from your regular work/school week, Empire Control Room has just what you're looking for. Music Movie Theater Thursdays offers weekly showings of fun, music-themed films open to all ages. Empire is a 15,000 square foot modern music space at 7th and Red River, dedicated to presenting quirky, warehouse style events that feel more like adventurous discoveries than everyday affairs.

Empire has adopted various safety protocols to ensure the health and wellbeing of staff and guest. Kicking off Thursday, Jan. 28, audiences will enjoy the socially distant events allowing for a safe and comfortable movie-going experience with a screening of School of Rock beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door.
