Families Invited To Learn About Latest Tech Every First Saturday
The Cepeda Branch of the Austin Public Library will host tech workshops and activity sessions for the family from January through May.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Families will have the opportunity to learn and explore the latest in technology including Virtual Reality, Robotics, Animation, 3D Printing and Drones with the Cepeda Branch of the Austin Public Library in partnership with Latinitas and its FREE Saturday activity sessions.
Come out every first Saturday to learn about the latest tech and enjoy an educational and fun afternoon for the entire family. Recommended for ages eight and older, however, younger siblings are also welcome. The upcoming activity session scheduled on Saturday, Jan. 4 will be a Virtual Reality Workshop, where you'll have the chance to glimpse into the world of VR through activities like Google Expeditions, creating your own VR videos using a 360-degree camera, and doing a VR Remix - an activity where 3D images are placed together to create a short audio narrative of their location, creating a VR experience that combines their voice and their memories.
