Family Fun Run Helps Organization Tackle Hunger Within Community

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — The goal of the Circle of Hope Community Center is simple, to improve the community by providing resources to help neighbors in need, and develop meaningful, heartfelt relationships with all those who reach out for help. By providing hope and encouragement, Circle of Hope Community Center believes better tomorrows will come.

Runners and walkers are invited to Circle of Hope Community Center's Food Pantry Family Fun Run 2019 for a 4.5K & 1k on Saturday, Oct. 26 beginning at 8 a.m. around beautiful Lake Pflugerville. The run is an effort to help reduce hunger within the local community. Open to all, the 4.5K is a great introduction to off-road running on a soft, flat unpaved course. Runners interested in registering an official time may pick up their free timing chip on race morning. Registration is open and is $30 (individual), however, teams of three or more will offer each runner $5 off their registration fee.

The family fun run will be a great event for kids to enjoy, and will include an untimed 1K race for kids 10 and under, beginning at 9 a.m. There will be kids games, food, and a day of fun for the entire family throughout the event.
