Gentle Yoga For Terrible Times Offers Hour-Long Wellness Session

The complimentary virtual yoga classes offer tools for relaxation including breathing techniques, meditations, and stretches to ease stress.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — In addition to the worries and anxiety associated with the ongoing pandemic, the stress surrounding uncertainty affects many of us in communities across the country. As health experts suggest, well-being is an important focus of every day life. Amid a public health crisis, however, finding strategies and techniques to remain healthy is of critical importance. In an effort to help people find calm during challenging times, the community is invited to Gentle Yoga for Terrible Times with Joyce Wu, RYT 200.

The online wellness event held via Zoom will feature an hour-long yoga practices with simple and accessible breathing exercises, stretches and guided meditations for all bodies, minds, and spirits, with no previous experience necessary to participate. Chronic stress can take a devastating toll on mental and physical well-being, however, yoga is a tool used to help support those experiencing exhaustion, stress, burn out, or as a way to relax and nourish the mind and body.
