Health Education Series Discusses Allergies And Treatments

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Pflugerville hosts a health education series, with February's topic centered around allergies.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA), more than 50 million Americans have experienced various types of allergies each year. If you live in Texas, there's little doubt you may have experienced some sort of allergy in the course of your life. Whether it's any of the most common allergens founds in Texas, such as oak pollen, mountain cedar, or ragweed, there's much to learn about any and all of these allergies.

For that reason, the community is invited to Healthspeak Education Series: Allergies hosted by Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Pflugerville. The FREE event scheduled Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. will feature physician assistant Rhiannon Ringo, PA-C and an informative discussion on the best ways to evaluate and treat allergies, and will also discuss new findings regarding penicillin allergy. The event promises to be informative and eye-opening. Seating is limited, and attendees are asked to RSVP HERE or call 1-844-279-3627.
