Heartland Theatre Collective Premieres New Radio Play
Passage is a radio play written during the pandemic and centers on a group of astronauts in space exploring themes of love, loss and faith.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Heartland Theatre Collective invite the community to the premiere of a new radio play titled Passage. The show presented as a written collaboration by Austin-based theatre artists created during the pandemic and directed by Marian Kansas and Rosaling Faires, is an opportunity to "escape into faraway places and intimate and truthful conversations on human connection and endurance."
Scheduled to premiere Saturday, September 12 at 7 p.m., the free virtual event delves into a story of a group of astronauts trapped in the pull of a black hole and forced to confront questions of love, loss and faith. Audiences may register for the free event or through a paid donation to receive a link ahead of the presentation to the live broadcast airing on YouTube Live.
Audiences will be able to watch a discussion and premiere celebration alongside artists and creators. Passage will also be available to stream at your convenience on major platforms following the performance. Please note: Passage contains adult content and is intended for audiences ages 17 and older.
