Hotel Granduca Austin Poised For Tree-Lighting Ceremony

AUSTIN, TEXAS — In Austin, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Hotel Granduca Austin is gearing up to kick off the holiday season with its second annual tree-lighting ceremony and celebration later this month.

The Nov. 29 event at Hotel Granduca Austin, 320 S Capital of Texas, scheduled to take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. will feature a visit from Santa and performance by the award-winning Westlake High School Madrigals choir group. The public is invited to gather in the hotel courtyard to enjoy a night of cheer with complimentary treats, including Italian mulled wine, hot chocolate, cookies, and classic Italian appetizers.

Last year's tree lighting drew nearly 400 people and this year's event is shaping up to be even bigger and better, hotel officials said.
