The Kendra Scott WEL Institute Hosts Virtual Celebration
In honor of International Women's Day, Kendra Scott WEL Institute invite you to celebrate women and challenge gender bias, inequality.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX—International Women's Day is an opportunity to spotlight the many achievements of women, while promoting women's equality, and the Kendra Scott Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute invites you to join in on the celebration. The International Women's Day Virtual Celebration encourages everyone to join the IWD Community to challenge gender bias and inequality, and this year, work to find solutions to ensure all women live their best and most empowered lives.
Tune in Monday, March 8 beginning at 11:45 a.m. for a free virtual celebration and hear from some of today's leading female voices from the business community and across the University of Texas at Austin, including Kendra Scott herself, with a special announcement to be made on the day. The KS WEL Institute’s International Women’s Day virtual celebration is open to all gender identities, and you're invited to take part with #ChooseToChallenge.
The day's events offers participation from the Austin-based entrepreneurial networks, and there will be an active #Slack channel for students to connect with one another. There will be surprise giveaways, and a virtual dinner conversation facilitated by Young Women's Alliance as part of the "Empowering Women to Lead" program.
