LGBTQ Resumé Basics Explores Writing Do's & Don'ts

Austin-area LGBTQ job-seekers are invited to an online event to discuss topics such as pronouns, LGBTQ community involvement, and more.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX—The Center for LGBTQ Economic Advancement & Research invites LGBTQ job-seekers with specific questions about their resumé to attend an online session, CLEAR Job Talk About LGBTQ Resumé Basics, that explores writing do's and don'ts from career coach Kyle Inselman.

Your resumé serves as a first impression between employer and job-seeker, and it's a vital document needing to be updated throughout your professional and working life. LGBTQ job-seekers may have questions surrounding resumé preparation that may not have one-size-fits-all answers. The online session scheduled Saturday, Feb. 6 from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. will feature ideas to share to help you choose the right option for you as you begin preparing your resumé.
