Library Hosts Poetry Writing Workshop Ahead Of Nat'l Poetry Month

Aspiring poets are also invited to submit original work from now through March 20, and participate in a Poetry Writing Workshop on March 14.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — In anticipation of National Poetry Month taking place the entire month of April, Pflugerville Public Library invites the community to enter their submissions for the Annual Poetry Month Contest open to library cardholders ages 18 and up. Now through April, aspiring poets may submit their work to have displayed in the adult section of the library for the month of April, and the chance to be awarded top prize all sponsored by the Friends of the Pflugerville Public Library. The deadline for submission is March 20, 2020.

The library will also host a Poetry Writing Workshop for ages 12 and up on Saturday, March 14 from 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. presented by creative writing professor Tracey Lander-Garrett. To register, click HERE. For more details about either events visit the Pflugerville Public Library event page HERE.
