Here are the top stories in North Austin-Pflugerville today:
- Three Pflugerville couples are still searching for answers "after local photographer Donny Tidmore" captured their wedding photos, took the money and ghosted them." Unfortunately, one of the couples, Caylee Villarreal and her husband, only have two cell phone photos while sadly, some of the other couples have none. When Villarreal originally found Tidmore's website, his outdoor wedding photos and glowing reviews "caught her attention" and when he delivered her engagement photos on time in 2020, "she thought he would be perfect for her wedding" in 2021. Unfortunately, that was not the case as she said, "I have not heard from him since that day when he left my wedding." She added, "That was the last time I've talked to him. So, I don't have a single photo of our ceremony." According to consumer advocates, it's important to "make sure the photographer's website and social media pages are current with recent posts and photo galleries. Also, check for recent reviews and references and ask around in wedding forums before booking a photographer." For more details on this case, please visit: (kvue.com)
- Belly fat "sticks around like a bad habit" and is "a deterrent to your self-confidence." Not only that, but "it also comes with an array of serious health dangers" such as "increased risk for cancer to heart disease to diabetes." If you've been working hard to live a healthier and better life but are struggling to lose that stubborn belly fat, it may be due to several reasons, according to Fred Sassani, a nationally certified personal trainer and nutrition specialist and founder of Bodies By Design in Pflugerville.
