Business Pfirst Program hosts a networking event with Sisu CEO Russell Aldridge discussing robotics and its impact on Pflugerville.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC), and its Business Pfirst Program invite the community to the Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots networking breakfast for a discussion on robotics and its impact on the manufacturing industry, and what changes can be expected for the future of Pflugerville, TX.
The event will feature guest speaker, Russell Aldridge, CEO & Co-Founder of Sisu, an industrial robotics company based in Pflugerville. Sisu has become a robotics powerhouse, beginning with a National Instruments contract which launched the creation of a machine that triangulates the position of an incoming dart, to the development of robots that teach Boy Scouts knot tying, to a fully-functional Rock'Em, Sock'Em Robots game. Most recently, Sisu developed its core product KAISU, touted as the simplest way to program an industrial robot, and in the process revolutionizing the robotics industry.
Created in 2015 by PCDC, the Business Pfirst Program is a way to support local companies as they address and overcome obstacles that inhibit growth and prosperity. Regardless of size, Business Pfirst offers free guidance and resources to Pflugerville companies and uses a customer-oriented approach to connect business specialists at the PCDC as a single-point of contact for all your business needs. The Rock'Em, Sock'Em networking breakfast is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 30 beginning at 7:15 a.m. at Typhoon Texas Austin located at 18500 Texas 130 Service Rd., Pflugerville, TX 78660.
