P. Terry’s Burger Stand To Open In Pflugerville

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Expansion-minded P. Terry’s Burger Stand — a family-owned chain based in Central Texas — is set to open its newest site in Pflugerville on Tuesday, officials announced.

"We’re excited to give Pflugerville its very own P. Terry’s," Todd Coerver, CEO of P. Terry's Burger Stand, said in a prepared statement. "Everyone has been so kind in welcoming us, even though the ‘P’ in our name isn’t silent," he joked. “Stop on by, our crew will be ready to take care of you.”

Pflugerville residents are well aware of the city's penchant for coining words with an extraneous albeit silent"p" to words that begin with "f," in a linguistic tip of the hat to the city's name. Where other cities stage festivals, for example, they become "pfestivals" in Pflugerville. The season we know as fall is transformed to "pfall" in Pflugerville.

The abundance of the silent "p" is what Coerver referenced in his pfunny prepared statement. But back to the matter at hand.

P. Terry’s Burger Stand is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night, and is known for its all-natural ingredients. Its menu features a variety of high-quality food items at an affordable price. Guests can find burgers made with fresh, never-frozen black Angus beef, chicken patties made in-house from whole chicken breast, vegetarian patties, fresh-cut fries, hand-spun milkshakes, egg burgers using cage-free eggs, fresh-baked banana bread, and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and a variety of other items on its menu.

The chain's entry into the Pflugerville market illustrates the chain's ambitious corporate expansion. The Pflugerville location marks the company’s 20th location, and 5th new location in nine months as it continues its growth across Central Texas, officials noted in an advisory.
