Pflugerville Field Trips Let Kids Unplug And Explore

Pflugerville Parks and Recreation offers field trips geared for kids 6-12 giving them opportunities to get out and explore.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Cooler temperatures in Texas offer great opportunities to get outside and explore nature. The fall and winter months are especially an ideal time for kids to unplug and venture outside. Pflugerville Parks and Recreation hosts Unplug and Explore outdoor adventure field trips for kids ages 6-12 throughout the fall/winter seasons.

  • Saturday, November 2, 8:45 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Marvelous Mammals, Lockhart State Park (free)
  • Saturday, December 14, 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Tubin' Time, Texas Ski Ranch ($10)
  • Saturday, January 4, 9:45 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Cave Tour, Colorado Bend State Park ($5)
  • Saturday, February 8, 4-10 p.m. - Roastin' and Toastin', McKinney Falls State Park (free)
  • Saturday, March 14, 1-10 p.m. - Sunset Hike, Enchanted Rock (free)
