Pflugerville Library Announces Call For Submissions

Pflugerville-area teens are invited to participate in the 2020 QuaranTeen Time Capsule event to capture the memories of 2020.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX—The Pflugerville Public Library invites area teens to participate in the 2020 QuaranTeen Time Capsule: Call for Submissions to capture your memories of 2020 in a time capsule that will be opened in 10 years. As we all experienced, 2020 was a year to remember, and the teen perspective will be accepted in the form of digital submission to include in a time capsule.

Open to ages 13-19, Pflugerville residents are welcome to participate, however, as a result of space limitations, not all submissions will be included in the time capsule. Submissions selected should be printed to include individually or will be added to a zine designed to the library's Teen Advisory Group (TAG). Digital files will also be saved to a USB flash drive to include in the capsule. TAG has pre-selected a limited number of physical items to also include in the capsule that are representative of the year.

The time capsule will be sealed and stored at the Heritage House Museum for a period of ten years before being opened by future TAG members. Pflugerville Library will accept the following submissions for possible inclusion in the time capsule:
