Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival Details Released

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — City officials have released details on the upcoming Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival celebrating Independence Day next month.

The 11th annual Pfirecracker Pfestival is returning to the Pfield (1440 W. Pecan St.) for the second year given the positive reception it received last year, officials said. Continued road construction on Weiss Lane and East Pflugerville Parkway also make the venue ideal for the July 4 celebration, official noted.

"The Pfirecracker Pfestival returns to the stadium for another great year of community pfun," Mayor Victor Gonzales said in a prepared statement. "In Pflugerville, we have a ‘pflare for pfireworks,’ and I think one of the best shows in the area. We hope you all will come celebrate our nation's Independence Day with us."

With a larger kid’s area and more food trucks, the Pfirecracker Pfestival is ready to welcome the entire community, officials said. The event also features live music from Suede and culminates in a fireworks show at dark. "Enjoy a front row seat to all the excitement from inside the stadium," offficials added. Admission is free.

Schedule

5 p.m.: Stadium, Kid’s Area and Food Trucks Open

6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: Live Music from Suede

8:55 p.m.: Independence Day program (including Mayor’s welcome, National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance)

9:05 p.m. to 9:25 p..m.: Fireworks Show

When entering the stadium, please remember the following rules: Clear bags and bottles only, no diaper bags, purses or backpacks that are not clear. No alcohol, tobacco products, umbrellas, pets or outside coolers.

Plenty of parking is available at the Pfield, with entrances on Pecan Street and Swenson Farms Boulevard. The event is also bike pfriendly. Bike racks are available near Gate D.
