Pflugerville Recycle Center To End Its Compost Program In October

Residents will have a final opportunity to visit the Pflugerville Recycle Center to receive compost before the program ends on Oct. 4.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX—Pflugerville residents are reminded that the City of Pflugerville and its Compost at the Recycle Center will end on Monday, Oct. 4. The program will end because it has been operating at a loss, and unfortunately, the program cannot continue to offer quality compost without significant cost to its residents.

Residents will have Friday, Oct. 1, Saturday, Oct. 2 and Monday, Oct. 4 as their final opportunities to pick up compost at the Pflugerville Recycle Center located at 15500 Sun Light Near Way, #B Inside Travis County Metro Park.

The Recycle Center will continue to offer free mulch, along with its other drop-off services. For more information visit pflugervilletx.gov/recyclecenter or click HERE.
