Pflugerville Residents Invited To Learn About Civic Engagement
PF 101 is a program for Pflugerville residents to better understand the function of the day-to-day functions and role of local governments.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX—Pflugerville residents are invited to register to participate in the PF 101program hosted by the City to offer the chance to learn about the day-to-day functions and roles of local government. The program is designed as a relationship-building tool for members of the community, as well as a way to encourage civic participation.
Residents will learn about operations, cultivate future leaders, and showcase talents of staff. PF 101 will feature eight virtual information sessions, and will include presentations from multiple representatives from various City of Pflugerville departments.
The fall and spring sessions will run from January through March, and spaces fill quickly so interested participants are encouraged to sign up soon. Class sizes are limited to 20 people per session and participation is free. Graduates from the 2021 class will be recognized at the virtual City Council meeting scheduled, Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 7 p.m.

The program is offered only for residents living within the Pflugerville city limits, and participants must be registered voters to enroll in the program.
