Pflugerville Seeks Members For Boards, Commissions

Applications are being sought for appointees to Board of Adjustment, Tax Reinvestment Zone, Library Board, Parks & Recreation and more.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — The City of Pflugerville is accepting applications for voluntary positions on several of its boards and commissions.

Members are sought for the city's Board of Adjustment, Tax Reinvestment Zone No. One Board (TIRZ), Equity Commission, Finance and Budget Committee, Library Board, Parks and Recreation Commission, Personnel Appeal Board, Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC), and Planning and Zoning Commission for terms beginning Jan. 1, 2021.

Applicants are generally required to be registered voters of the city, and to have resided within the city limits for at least 12 months preceding appointment. Additional requirements may exist, officials noted. The city encourages all interested citizens to apply prior to Nov. 30. Interviews with the city council and consideration of appointments is scheduled to take place at a city council meeting in December.
