Pflugerville Seniors' Cheerful Chat Helps Combat Social Isolation
The City of Pflugerville host a twice monthly chat line for area seniors to reach out, chat and stay connected amid the pandemic.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX—The ongoing pandemic has posed challenges for countless communities across the country, and has been especially difficult for seniors facing isolation amid the pandemic. In an effort to lend support, share joy and stay connected, The City of Pflugerville hosts Seniors' Cheerful Chat for seniors in the community to reach out and be heard.
Held on the first and third Tuesday of the month from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., seniors may call Daulton at (512) 990-6363 to share something positive that may be happening, talk about a new or favorite recipe, chat about exciting news about family, discuss a new hobby, or anything else that may be on their mind.
As gatherings, travel and programs are suspended, it's important to remain connected and socialize as best we can, and the City of Pflugerville is here to help. If you call and receive a message prompt, please leave a message to have your call returned. For more information, click HERE.
