Pflugerville Trash, Recycling Collection Postponed Amid Cold
Waste Connections offered a pair of scenarios that might emerge in the coming days as frigid weather continues to be forecast.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Trash and recycling services have been suspended on Monday as a result of continuing inclement weather forecast next week, officials said Friday.
Waste Connections will not provide the services as they continue to monitor weather conditions, officials said in an advisory. Officials presented two scenarios that may emerge:
Scenario 1: Conditions allow us to safely resume operations on Tuesday.

- All customers will be serviced on a one-day delay, ending with Friday customers receiving service on Saturday, Feb. 20.
Scenario 2: Conditions cause Waste Connections to suspend Tuesday operations, and allow for the safe resumption of operations on Wednesday.

- All customers will be serviced on a two-day delay, ending with Thursday customers receiving service on Saturday, Feb. 20. In the following week, customers that are normally scheduled for Friday service will have service on Monday, Feb. 22. Afterward and for the remainder of the week, all customers will be serviced on a one-day delay, ending with Friday customers receiving service on Saturday, Feb. 27.
