Pflugerville's Pfall Chili Pfest Is Coming Up

It’s that time of year again.

Pflugerville’s Pfall Chili Pfest is coming up on Saturday, Oct. 17. There will be dozens of teams competing in the Chili Cook-Off Contest.

The event is from noon to 5 p.m. To enter your favorite chili recipe, click here. There will lots of other events, including live music, the Heat Wave Car Show, a Jalapeno Eating Contest and a Shoppers Village with dozens of vendors. The free Children’s Area has a petting zoo, choo choo train ride, face painter and balloon artist. The Man Cave at Hanovers Draught Haus will be playing college football on TV, indoors and outside at the back deck.

A free shuttle bus runs from Pflugerville High School, 1301 S. Pecan St., starting at noon. The drop-off point is at 4th Street. The event is staged on Main Street, between Railroad Avenue and 4th Street. Park at nearby lots or open streets and walk into the event site.
