"Prepare To Protect" Offers Resources, Tips To Stay Safe
Pflugerville residents invited to check out Pflugerville's awareness campaign for National Preparedness Month and resources for emergencies.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX—In honor of National Preparedness Month, the City of Pflugerville invites its residents to stay prepared! This year's theme is "Prepare to Protect" and is designed to raise awareness for the importance of being prepared in the event of a disaster or emergency that could occur at any time.
The City of Pflugerville will share information in the coming weeks on tips to prepare, and community resources available to stay safe in the event of severe weather or other emergencies. The topics to be discussed will include:
- Making a Plan
- Building a Kit
- Signing up for Emergency Alerts
- Teaching Youth about Preparedness
- Resources and How to Get Involved
Texas weather in recent years has proven to be unpredictable, and the need to be prepared has never been more important. The goal of "Prepare to Protect" is to encourage community members to prepare, follow a plan, and stay safe.
