The Roosevelt Room Hosts Cocktail Creation & Mixology 101

NORTH AUSTIN, TX—Looking to kick start a skill set or explore a new hobby? You're invited to The Roosevelt Room to learn how to craft your very own innovative cocktails like the pros, beginning with the idea and finishing with your very own delicious drink in hand!

For those looking to explore unique spins on classic cocktails to enjoy from home with family and friends, you'll learn how to create your own new and unique cocktails. The Roosevelt Room's Master Class Series - Cocktail Creation & Mixology 101 is a two-hour introductory mixology course on the five basic components of a cocktail (and how they play a part in balance), proper technique for mixing drinks, and the many methods used by the pros to create original recipes.

The class scheduled Sunday, Feb. 21 from 12 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. will give each attendee an opportunity to create a new signature cocktail, and use ingredients available at home or in the store, using the five component cocktail creation guide. Attendees ages 21 and over are welcome, and stationed hors d'oeuvres will be served at the beginning of the course.
