St. David's Foundation Opens Applications For 2021 Scholarship

The St. David's Neal Kocurek Scholarship awards funding to high school seniors in designated counties as they pursue careers in health.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX—St. David's Foundation has opened applications for its 2021 St. David's Neal Kocurek Scholarship program, and is open to high school students within Hays, Williamson, Bastrop or Caldwell counties pursuing health professions and attending a university or college in the state of Texas.

Applications for the scholarship opened Nov. 10 and will close on Jan. 8, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. The scholarship is an opportunity for recipients to receive financial assistance, a robust tutoring program, wellness coaching and mental health services, and pairs students with an accomplished health professional, who provides priceless mentorship throughout the scholar's entire college journey.

As one of the largest health foundation in the United States, St. David's Foundation provides $80 million annually within a five-county area surrounding Austin, TX. Working in tandem with St. David's HealthCare, the Foundation reinvests proceeds from the hospital system back into the community, promoting the goal of advancing health equity and improving the health and well-being of the most underserved in Central Texas.
