Stargazers Learn About Universe, Night Sky At Monthly Meeting
Astronomy on Tap ATX is a monthly gathering of enthusiasts featuring talks by astronomy professionals and opportunities to stargaze.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Stargazers will have the opportunity to check out the beautiful Austin night sky and learn about astronomy on the 3rd Tuesday of every month in 2020 with Astronomy on Tap at The North Door. The FREE monthly event features fascinating talks by professional astronomers and people who work in related fields on topics related to current research, discoveries, and exciting facts about the Universe.
All ages are welcome, and Pueblo Viejo is open to purchase tacos. There will be telescopes on hand to check out exciting objects in the sky. The North Door alley bar opens at 6 p.m. with main doors opening at 7 p.m. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. The event will be MC'ed by Host Stars including Chaos Cloud (Rebecca Larson) and Deep Space Shine (Dr. Micaela Bagley).
The event will feature Astronomy News by Whatamerger Jr. (Jackie Champagne) and It's a TRAPPIST (Danny Krolikowski), trivia with prizes, and AoTATX merchandise. For more click HERE.
