Strings In The Woods Event Explores Nature, Music And Adventure

NORTH AUSTIN, TX—There are few things in life as perfect as springtime in Austin, and Strings in the Woods invites you to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and experience the wonder of nature, music and adventure.

The Strings in the Woods experience pairs beautiful natural settings and a guided nature walk with an intimate acoustic outdoor 2-hour concert. Favorite Austin musicians find unique locations in nature as performance backdrops, such as a dry creek bed, alongside a towering cliff, or an open meadow with the majesty of the setting sun.

In addition to their scheduled concert events, Strings in the Woods invites 10 nature and music lovers to join them as they host their Strings in the Woods Full Day Spring Nature and Music Emersion from sun up to sun down on Saturday, April 3. The event will be held at a 400 acre park in Austin, and will be part treasure hunt and part journey of self discovery, and will kick off with breakfast, meditation, and a few songs.

Guests will have opportunities to explore on their own for some contemplative time, and meet up with others at specific spots during the day for activities, music, meditation, and much more! The experience will paint a memorable experience that you'll be able to conjure years from now, and the day will include:

• music performances at multiple meetup spots in the park
• meditation lead by Melissa Grogan, professional mediation teacher
• plant and nature talk by Chris Hyde of Natureversity
• silent exploration time with maps included
• Final concert and share back at sunset
