Theme Running Challenge Centers On Beloved Children's Board Game

NORTH AUSTIN, TX —Families will have a great opportunity to get outdoors and participate in a virtual run challenge with a retro twist. The Candy Run Challenge is a 5K, 10K, and 15K run centered on the beloved Candyland children's board game that keeps the entire family motivated to get active. The challenge takes runners on a whimsical journey, conquering mile after mile with special 5K, 10K and 15K milestones to accomplish along the way before finally reaching Candy Castle and a sweet half marathon distance to claim your throne as Candy Run Royalty.

Runners may join the challenge as a standard registration or may upgrade registration to receive a Candy Run Challenge official t-shirt, a great commemorative medal, and bragging rights. Three different shirts represent three different game pieces participants - Candy King, Candy Princess, and Gingerbread Man.
