TreeFolks Young Professionals Host Online Tree-via

NORTH AUSTIN, TX—TreeFolks Young Professionals (TFYP), (ages 21 - 40ish) work to volunteer, educate, fundraise, and build community in support of the TreeFolks mission: planting, caring for, and giving people free trees to plant!

Friends and neighbors will have an opportunity to gather virtually and enjoy Takeout Appreciation Tree-via, and general trivia involving trees! No prior plant knowledge required, and you'll be able to order great local takeout, log in to Zoom, and share an evening with other tree-fans!

Scheduled Tuesday, Feb. 16 from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m., you'll enjoy four rounds of "general knowledge", all involving trees. Categories such as history, pop, science...if there are trees in it, you can expect it to be included! This online social event is free, and it's a great opportunity to support local restaurants.

• Send thanks for their large donation to TreeFolks during their "Save Austin Drink Beer" campaign, and for hosting our previous Summer Kickoff Party. (They also provided the Tree-via prize!)

Black Owned Businesses in celebration of Black History Month

• Find a favorite on Austin Chronicle's list of Black-owned businesses.

Trivia will be held via Zoom, and participants are welcome to gather a team or log in solo. TFYP can also place you on a team, and teams will have their own break-out room to communicate while answering questions. Trivia winner will receive a $50 Card to Better Half/Hold Out brewing!
